We are starting this year filled with hope and gratitude! We are especially grateful for friends, family, and all of you and your continued support during a difficult 2020.
We have been hard at work and have some really great new things planned for this year and are so excited to share them with you!
The thing we are MOST excited about is the release of Kathy’s newest book, “A Time for Gathering” in early February. She partnered with Martingale publishers to bring to you this stunning autumn themed quilt. The book is filled with gorgeous photography, detailed instructions, and full-size pull-out templates. And while we may not be able to “gather” in person right now, this beautiful project will keep you busy while you plan for future events and festivities.

Each unique block design contains just the right amount of detail to make this project a true work of art. Can’t you just picture this finished piece in your own home?! The finished size is 61.5” x 61.5”
Right now the book is available for a special presale price in our shop. Hurry, this price will only last through January 31st! Shipments will go out at the beginning of February when the book is officially released.
For the first time EVER, we are also offering a block of the month subscription service for this quilt. The subscription shipments will start March 15 and will last for 10 months. Each month you will receive hand-selected premium wools and Diamond Textile fabric to create one block from the quilt. The final shipment will contain Diamond Textile fabric to finish all of the sashing, cornerstones, borders, and binding.
There are a limited number of spots for this subscription and once we fill up we will not be able to add more. Please sign up early! Anyone who subscribes before March 1, 2021 will receive a FREE ball of Valdani thread in their first shipment to use specifically on this project.

If you sign up for the BOM subscription, we will send you a special discount code for the book. Also, If you use the discount code, you agree to include the book with your first block shipment instead of shipping separately. And… just in time for the next holiday, we added this sweet little wool kit to the shop to accompany the Hearts and Vines pattern. The finished project is 9” x 16” so there is quite a bit of wool in the kit. Perfect for spreading a little love.
Later this year we will be participated in the annual mystery quilt sew-along. If you have never participated in one of these, it is great fun! Twelve designers get together and provide FREE digital block patterns to complete a beautiful quilt. Kits will also be available for all of the blocks. There is even a special Facebook group dedicated to this event. Mystery Quilt Sew A Long - make sure you join now so you don’t miss anything. More information coming soon!!
We also just started our own Facebook group for everyone wanting to share their “A Time for Gathering” quilt and other The Cottage at Cardiff Farms projects. Kathy will also be sharing short instructional videos with tips and tricks. We are super excited to connect with all of you, please join and share your pictures with us!
