We have been hard at work and have some really great new things planned for this year and are so excited to share them with you!
First, we are thrilled to be offering TWO different block-of-the-month quilts this year! We will have subscriptions available for both “The Cottage Garden” and “Where the Cows Come Home.” Sign ups have already begun and there are a limited number of spots. A Cottage Garden
We had a rare sunny day here in the Pacific Northwest yesterday and to celebrate the fabulous weather we took the “A Cottage Garden” quilt out for some pictures in the garden. Seeing the colors of all the flowers in the quilt has us dreaming of spring!

Each block of A Cottage Garden contains beautiful, delicate floral details and together they create a beautiful garden for you to display in your home.
Where the Cows Come Home
“Where the Cows Come Home,” the second option for the block of the month, showcases nine unique barns made of wool on cotton pieced backgrounds. Just look at all the adorable country scenes!
Subscription info…
We will be offering a subscription service for each of these quilts. The subscription shipments will start March 15 and will last for 10 months. Each month you will receive hand-selected premium wools and fabrics to create one block from the quilt that you sign up for. The final shipment will contain fabric to finish all of the sashing, cornerstones, borders, and binding.
There are a limited number of spots for these subscriptions and once we fill up we will not be able to add more. Please sign up early!
*IMPORTANT* The subscription does NOT include a copy of the book so the book must be purchased separately. If you sign up for the BOM subscription, we will send you a special discount code for the book and any other supplies you would like to get for your project. Also, please note that your first month’s payment will be charged immediately at the time of order, and then on the 15th of each month starting in April.

Other exciting news…
In the coming months we will be adding lots of new items to the store! Soon you will see some of Kathy’s favorite notions, additional Valdani thread sizes, new kits, and Diamond textiles yardage. Check back often to see what we’ve done!
Soon, we will be participated in the annual mystery quilt sew-along. If you have never participated in one of these, it is great fun! Twelve designers get together and provide FREE digital block patterns to complete a beautiful quilt. Kits will also be available for all of the blocks. There is even a special Facebook group dedicated to this event. Farmhouse Friends - make sure you join now so you don’t miss anything. More information coming soon!!
We also have our own Facebook group for everyone wanting to share their The Cottage at Cardiff Farms projects. Kathy will also be sharing tips and tricks for the block of the month projects through out the year.
